Work has taken a significant amount of time.
The originally planned scene, “maid,” had to be put on hold due to technical issues.
Because of that, “My Teacher Ch2” should have been completed much faster as an interim project—but I failed to meet that expectation.
I sincerely apologize.
The issue was that the existing plugins weren’t capable of achieving the direction I wanted.
So I spent a considerable amount of time developing new plugins and improving existing ones. But in the end, that’s just an excuse.
What you were expecting was not plugins, but a scene—and that is what I should have delivered.
As a result, the project is taking longer than expected to complete.
That’s why I’m planning to create short-form content in the meantime.
(“My Teacher Ch2” is built around plugin-driven assets with a variety of new features, and there are still parts that require careful work. Even the UI system is quite different from before.)
The short-form content will be developed under a strict 14-day time limit, and will be released regardless of its level of polish once the deadline is reached.
Not long after that, I will release a demo version of “My Teacher Ch2.”
To be honest, I’ve already completed most of the plugins I wanted to build:
VR controller vibration, UI interaction and possession toggle via VR controllers, a vertex-link plugin with virtually no CPU overhead (special thanks to Skynet for the underlying concept), as well as Dock UI, View Triggers, and an optimized timeline player designed to reduce CPU bottlenecks.
There’s more, but I’ll leave it at that for now.
