I have been working on an original minicomic project, which started as the prequel to a videogame I wanted to make. I'm mostly done with the prequel comic -- 12 pages in, with maybe 14 overall. But I also want to hint at the story that this is a prequel to, and tell that story in some form, whether as a partial comic, an ARG, a mini video game, something. I have inked hundreds of pages of art for this which got distilled into 12 pages of comic. I intend to make it into a coloring book as well, to make use of all of the art, and a social media campaign.
After a long break, Kiko Pablo is half done with two more animated shots for The Thief and the Cobbler Recobbled Cut Mk5. I've done some consulting on possible inbetweens for these shots also. I keep saying this, but I'd like to get back to my own work on that film, which was a lot of shots. Some of the work was subpar and I burnt out on it, but I have some better techniques now.
I was maybe a little reckless, using "my" Patreon money on acquiring some decomposing film prints of rare 60s kids series Mr Piper. It may take more money to get these scanned by someone who can deal with the decomposition. Maybe a lot more money, which I don't have.
