Current WIP of an upcoming post, trying to take things more slow and pace out my linework. I kinda like this dirtier look, feels a bit more natural. I spent a shit ton of time just redrawing her cause the first two drafts came off as super flat or ridged in the pose. Also taking a bit slower with getting the proportions right etc.
I think going from this thick/hard pressure lines to scratchy ones works a lot better. I usually go over it again along the outline to give it just a slightly more polished look too.
Apart from that this summer I've been thinking about finally getting to modifying my krink. I got one from PSA around January 2025. There's probably been only a couple hundred rounds through it since I was in Europe last year for five months.
I think my first plan is getting a red-dot since that'll also include the other part I get. The most straightforward option is just scout mounting it since I'll be getting a new handguard with rails for a foregrip. There's also dovetail/dustcover mounting which I'm not opposed to. That leaves the last option of getting a rear sight rail and throwing it on there. Not the worse either cause it acts like a semi-riser which gets me over the front sight.
Since I'm in the mood to spend money I also thought about getting a range bag. Something neat and simple. I'm caught between the Hazard 4 Rocket and Tasmanian Tiger's Sling 20. Both are 30L~ bags with a sling style strap, each of them sits in that 160$ range too. So it can fit nicely in a safe or my truck with the AK folded up in it. Also If I'm not using it as a range bag it'll be a nice hiking bag.
