We have officially completed 95% of Layout on the current Otachan! project.
As expected, this means the release will now be rolling into March.
Normally I’d be in full “panic sprint” mode trying to force it into February.But this time, I’m choosing not to treat the final stretch like a race against the clock.
Instead, I'm going to allow some time so we can:
Properly check cuts
Get a stronger read on background comp
Make sure the final leg feels polished instead of rushed
Deadlines are good and I do enjoy a little bit of unhealthy pressure. However in this instance, i think its right to enjoy the process instead of rushing through it.

Now that Layout is essentially wrapped, we’re moving into:
Cut check / Sakkan
Clean-ups / Genga
Prep for the next production stages / Inbetweening and Coloring
But so far I’m really happy with how it’s coming out.
