Hi folks!
After the long wait and a few delays, here it is - the reworked and expanded Broken Harbours in its entirety. It really has been a labour of love, written one solitary winter in Chania over five weeks soon after a breakup, and supplemented with more positive section over the course of this year. It's a standalone VN about connections and how hard it might be to make those, the big dissapointments in life and learning to accept them. It's also a horny story, featuring the smuttiest writing I've ever done (with a help of a friend), and even proper animated NSFW scenes.
This v2 rework is how I would have released it in 2023 if I could - more competently written, better balanced, with a new ending and a much better pacing - there's another day added between the previous two halves of the VN in addition to other smaller scenes here and there.
To that you can add new music, new sauna illustration by Dangpa, newer sprites, voice acting forNSFW scenes, proper animations in the gallery - and that's Broken Harbours v2! Almost 23k words (comparing to the original 17k words) shed more light on Devon's past and Rune's motivations. Please note that the Chinese translation isn't ready yet and won't work for this version!
So, why a preview build and not a proper release? Before we get to that, I'd like to take some time to polish the visual side of the VN. That means a proper logo, custom UI, and another illustration for the ending scene. The writing is all done, but before the VN looks like a proper finished product, it'll stay here as a preview.
While me and the QA team has tested the PC version, there still might be some bugs - we'd be glad if you reported them in the comments in you encounter any.
