⚔️ Stylish Action HUD v2.1.0: Voice Activity, Visual Effects per Rule, Ammo Management & Range Display
DESCRIPTION

v2.1.0 adds real-time voice activity indicators, dynamic visual effects tied to portrait rules, full ammunition management for D&D 5e and PF2e, and inline spell/weapon range in the action menu. Plus a batch of layout controls and critical stability fixes.

🎙️ Voice Activity Indicator

See who's talking at a glance — no external overlay needed.

Opt-in World Setting: GMs toggle microphone detection on or off for the entire world.

Personal Glow Color: Each player picks their own glow color via a color picker. Other players see that color when you speak.

Theme-Aware Glow: Each built-in theme renders the glow differently (Iron: directional shadow + border, Cyberpunk: asymmetric neon, Medieval: solid glow, etc.) — only the color is swapped.

Local Detection: Uses the browser's microphone API directly. Independent of Discord, Mumble, or any external voice chat.

Anti-Flicker: Debounce logic prevents rapid on/off flickering from background noise.

* ⚠️ *Requires Microphone Permission*: Browser policy requires microphone access to be explicitly allowed. This means your Foundry server must be served over HTTPS (or localhost). Players will see a browser permission prompt on first activation.

🎭 Per-Rule Visual Effects

Dynamic Image Rules can now carry their own visual effects — filters, overlays, and tints — directly inside each rule.

When a rule matches, its effects completely override the actor's base Visual Effects. Rules with default (untouched) values fall through to the base effects as before.

The base Visual Effects controls are now displayed as a standalone section below Dynamic Image Rules, clearly separated from per-rule settings.

Example: A "Bloodied" rule at <50% HP can apply a red tint and desaturation filter, while a "Raging" rule adds a fiery overlay — each independent of the base look.

🏹 D&D 5e Ammunition Management

Ranged combat just got smoother.

Weapons with the Ammunition property now show the equipped ammo inline — icon, name, and remaining count with color-coded indicators (green → orange → red).

A dropdown lets you switch between available ammunition items. ± buttons manually adjust quantity.

Uses the native flag system (last.{activityId}.ammunition) to pre-select ammo for the next attack without double consumption.

🏹 PF2e Ammunition Management

Strike menu now displays equipped ammunition for each weapon.

Shows ammo name, icon, and remaining count with color-coded indicators.

Dropdown to select or change ammo, ± buttons to adjust quantity.

Reload weapons use PF2e's native attach system; non-reload weapons update selectedAmmoId.

Ammunition also appears as a dedicated category in the Inventory tab.

🎯 D&D 5e Spell & Weapon Range Display

Range information is now visible inline in the action menu — no tooltip hunting required.

Spells: Range appears next to components (e.g., "V, S — 120 ft", "Touch", "Self").

Weapons: Range is shown alongside damage type for ranged and thrown weapons (e.g., "PIERCING · 150/600 ft"). Standard 5 ft melee range is omitted to reduce noise.

🔤 Name Z-Index Control

Layer your name text above or behind the portrait.

New Name Z setting available in both Global Style and Per-Actor Style.

Set a value higher than the portrait's z-index to render the name above it; lower to tuck it behind.

📐 Wrapper Layout Controls

More precise control over where stat groups sit on the card.

Wrapper Z-Index: Status (conditions), Bars, Dots, Numbers, and Badges wrappers each have a Z input alongside existing X/Y offsets. Push wrappers above or below the portrait.

Global Wrapper X/Y/Z: Set default offsets for Bars, Dots, Numbers, and Badges at the global level. Per-actor overrides when set.

Numbers / Badges / Dots Wrapper Offsets: New per-actor X/Y controls for Numbers, Badges, and Dots wrappers — matching the existing Bars controls.

🔧 Improvements

Menu Category Drag Reorder: The grip handle on category rows now works — drag to reorder categories in the action menu config.

Cross-System Theme Import: Importing a theme from a different game system (e.g., D&D 5e → PF2e) now preserves action menu configuration instead of overwriting it. Only visual data is applied.

Discord Support Link: A Discord button in module settings for quick access to bug reports, feature requests, and community support.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Config Save Not Persisting: Fixed an issue where config changes silently failed to save. The editing data was referencing the settings cache directly instead of a deep clone, so Foundry detected no difference and skipped the write.

Reset Not Applying: Fixed a race condition where clicking Reset could immediately revert to pre-reset values due to the preview system re-capturing stale form data.

Long Item Names Overlapping: Fixed long spell/item names colliding with the cost/range area. Names now truncate with ellipsis.
