Hey, folks, time for another update.
Mana EssenceI finished implementing the Mana Essence, as I told you in the last post. The Mana Essence you collect is limited in the main characters body, but she can bring it to a portal for emptying. This portal appears where the player started. You will be able to interact with the portal to return home, check your closet and more. You will also be able to make that portal appear on a different location, so the back tracking won't be as long. AND the MC will be able to summon minions to help you gathering. Not to many though, it's not like Pikmin. You have only a few that can help you out. More on that at another time.
Destroyable ObjectsI finished working on destroyable objects. For now it's just one good ol' crate that the player can destroy. I took a while of figuring out how the player shall be able to interact with it. I set on making the player pass it by without its blocking the main character. But spells will hit it. Be aware of that, once an enemy crawls towards you :)Btw. there will be more destroyable objects in the first alpha. I wanna add at least a barrel and some vases.Currently they drop Mana Essence when destroyed, but I can see them dropping other things in the future.
The fun stuffAnd guess what I'm working on right now? Yep, it's a hentai animation! (That slime is a lucky son of a bitch...) I'm working on that earlier than expected. But there are a lot of things to setup in terms of how the hentai aspect of the game gets integrated into the gameplay. And also how those animations play out, cause they will be more complex than an animation with lesser enemies in Potion Shop, but not as complex as the animations with the elites.I still need to implement this feature. But I give you the information that, this time, sex is available for the protagonist to regenerate health and mana.I will tell you more about it in the next post. I wanna have everything done and ready so adding onto it will be easy. After that you will hear from me again.
Btw. sounds and music comes way later in development :)
