It's a BIG DAY for Quinns Quest, folks!
I've just published a gargantuan 1h31m review of Stonetop over on the Quinns Quest YouTube channel (a game which you can buy here), which marks the end of season 2 of the show. Personally, I feel like I just heaved a boulder up a mountain. You, however, may feel some sadness that we're entering a between-season break
But that would be SILLY
The gap between seasons 2 and 3 is only going to let me work on making the show stronger, happier, healthier and weirder. I hope you had your fill of Season 2's blue colour palette, because Quinns Quest will be coming back in electric green with a film set that is perhaps too ambitious but the creators have already been commissioned so let's just not think about it
Also!! I'm gonna be using the break between seasons to show you, the Patreon community, some much-deserved love. After all, every single minute of Season 2 is down to you guys funding me and my freelancers to put this show together. So I wanna get Play to Find Out, the Quinns Quest actual play show, rolling again. I've got lots I want to blog about. And as you'll see me tease in the above video, I've got more Stonetop content coming for you in the next couple of weeks in the form of a special campaign report video and a fun interview with my players. I know I normally drop all of a game's content on the Patreon on the same day, but this time it's not ready yet and I didn't want to make you folks wait any longer for the review.
In the meantime, please enjoy today's interview with Stonetop designer Jeremy Strandberg. A lovely, humble man, who this year humbly gave us perhaps the loveliest fantasy TTRPG of all time.
EDIT: Oh! And at the 34 minute mark Jeremy makes reference to blog posts where he discusses the process to designing Powered by the Apocalypse-style "Moves" for the this game. Here are those links:
