July is here! On the whole, I think I did a reasonable job keeping up with the month's regular expectations, considering all the attention I've been putting into MB&B at the same time. Let's check in on how June went.
Machines of Bone and Blood: LIVE! As of this writing, we are achingly close to $100k, so if you're on here but haven't gone to pledge over there, you could be the one who puts us over! The campaign's been awesome so far, we've been smashing through stretch goals left and right. Check it out!
Patreon: Continued growth, particularly free followers. We had a little bit of paid-supporter churn this month but net-positive (though of course, I'm always sad to see anyone go).
Discord: More growth here, I think largely folks getting pulled in by MB&B. I expect we'll see a big surge after the campaign when backer surveys go out.
Troubadour, Swashbuckler, Bloodrager: With a few of MB&B's stretch goals, we've got confirmation that new subclasses will be appearing in the new book! So far we've unlocked one troubadour sub and one swashbuckler sub (both of which patreon supporters have already seen). In addition, there will be brand new subs chosen through the Backer's choice poll.
Necromancer: Currently in the middle of a huge edit pass.
Abomination: Abomination v0.12.1 saw an update to MB&B-inspired styling, as well as the addition of KibblesTasty's Nature of the Mind and some base-class adjustments. I've already done a rough draft of our next subclass, which should post early next month.
Subclasses: This month we got the Way of the Beast Monk, a lycanthropic monk.
Species: Last month's poll turned out a tie between Wicker Woads and Rakshasa-kin; I am running behind but should get to it this week or next. Still haven't decided which way to break that tie.
Design Notes: I wrapped up last month's giant design notes on spellcasting features. Here's part 1, part 2, part 3, and part 4!
What can we look forward to in June?
MB&B: The campaign wraps on July 9! It's going awesome, and I'm super excited for where we're gonna land. Keep an eye and go back if you haven't!
Polls: The current leader in our general subclass poll is the Bone Knight figher. Supporters this month get a combo-poll of magic items and feats; the current winners are the Hospitaller's Gauntlets and the Spirit Caller feat, but I'll make more than just the first-place finishers.
