Here's a new video on a load of interesting FX that offers combinations of some of the newer modular FX types that are less common in pedal and hardware form. Info on TRAILS (by Poly Effects) below. I hope the video gives you some ideas about processing, layering and creating sound using FX too, whatever those FX are. Using vinyl crackle to excited modal synthesis and make organic chord layers was a favourite for me (as well as the instant Synclavier 'Thriller' sound over any instrument).

This video explores TRAILS as part of our Pedals & Patches series of videos, exploring pedal FX with modular gear, synthesizers, around the studio and with some other instruments too. Pedals aren't just for guitarists, so lets get creative with them!
Trails (from Poly Effects) offers 7 FX that make your sounds sustain and grow, there's resonators (think Rings) with sympathetic strings, bell like chord generation, live and frozen buffer granular processing, a unique distortion like nothing I've used before, micro loopers, pitch shifting delays, vinyl record emulating delays and more!
TAP-O-MATIC DIVKID DISCORD VERSION - UPDATES & AVAILABILITY
First of all a huge thank you to Darklord for continuing to look after this project, he's been working with Eris Fairbanks who worked with OAM on the original Time Machine module (and also on Bathymeter, Gackle and more) to update the firmware to address some noise issues some users have had. Reports are that this is a big fix, big noise reduction and there's updated more characterful filter options for the delay lines now too.
If you have a Tap-O-Matic module please head into the thead in Discord under the DIY channel to grab the firmware file and join the discussion.
Secondly with permission from OAM Darklord will have some assembled units available to sell that like our DIY project together will also kickback something to them. For now speak to Darklord on Discord if you'd like one.
Thirdly ... I have the spare panels and PCBs from this project, if you'd like one they're available (sent via Royal Mail from me in the UK out to you) for the same price everyone else paid. The panels do have some blemishes so I can take pictures to make that clear for you. A few people have reached out for these already, if you've done that before please message again in the same place you did already and I'll sort that with you.
