A reliability and quality-of-life update focused on fixing the issues you reported and making the day-to-day modding workflow rock solid. If you havent yet make sure you join the ModdingMilitia discord. Troubleshooting and reuests happens there.
Re-Import Fix — No More Duplicate CH Files
The big one. Re-importing an attire to a slot that already had files was creating phantom duplicates at the next attire index (e.g. ch{slot}12.pac when you meant to overwrite ch{slot}02.pac). Smart-collapse now treats your requested index as overwrite-intent — your file lands where you picked it, every time.
Roster Cleanup — Slots 0–99 Hidden
Slots 0–99 were legacy CAW placeholders that point at the wrong memory table and can never be properly injected. They're now hidden entirely from the Roster grid so no one accidentally tries to use them. The Roster starts cleanly at slot 100, with CAWLESS slots showing where they belong.
Overlay Mod Safety
Mods that overlay files directly into your game's base folders (Dark Mode, Unpacked GFX, etc.) now show a clear warning before installing — listing exactly what will be overwritten and pointing to the backup location. Prevents the "my game won't start a match" surprise.
Uninstall / Restore Originals
Every installed mod card has a new button:
Overlay mods → one click restores your original WWE 2K19 files from Genesis's backup folder
Sandboxed mods → removes the mod folder and refreshes chunk0.def
Includes a green success toast confirming exactly what was restored.
Unpacked GFX Crash Prevention
The "Unpacked Arena GFX" mod retires packed ltag_*.pac files so the unpacked replacements take effect, but if your zip was incomplete, the game would crash on match-start with blank arena logos. Genesis now validates the unpacked archive BEFORE retiring the originals. If anything's missing, the packed files stay in place and your game keeps working.
Deleted Markers Stay Deleted
Previously: deleting a mod's .installed marker file would cause Genesis to silently recreate it on next launch. Now: the marker is the single source of truth. Delete it, restart, and Genesis respects your intent.
Empty-State UI — No More "Infinite Blank Scroll"
The Roster, Mods, and Conflict Scanner all show friendly empty-state messages now instead of blank scrollable rectangles. Clear guidance on what to do next:
"No roster slots loaded — Check Settings → Game Path"
"No mods detected — click Install Mod"
"✓ No Conflicts Found"
…instead of a confusing dead UI.
Conflict Scanner Sizing — Fits Any Screen
The Conflict Scanner dialog now auto-sizes to your actual usable screen area (DPI-aware via Windows work-area API). On laptops and high-DPI displays it no longer overflows below the taskbar — Resolve and Close buttons are always reachable.
