[Hero] The Bastion Circle (Map Pack)

DESCRIPTION

Hail Heroes!

We are very excited to bring you an embellished map set worked on by Magenta Inks! This is the Bastion Circle, a ritual site and nature shrine situated in a mountainous wilderness. Beneath the suffocating weight of an primeval canopy where civilization is reduced to isolated, flickering embers against an indifferent wilderness, lie the thresholds of the old world. This circle is one such ember, a functional sanctuary born of communal necessity and survival.

The Ritual Focal Point: Centered within a hard-packed dirt clearing sits a massive, stone-carved circular dais. Its design is deceptively simple: interlocking squares and concentric rings bound by gold-hued metallic or mineral trim, suggesting a conduit for stabilizing primordial currents or channeling elemental spirits. And no ritual is complete without small incense burners drifting smoke across the area.

This map features rising stairs hewn from the rock and dirt of the mountain side in the top and bottom, with a steep cliff fall on the right side. Thick, dense bushes and grasses offer cover on the left side of the map. Altogether, the four types of terrain on the Circle offers a surprising depth of tactical awareness that can be utilized by characters if you're running an encounter.
