Update on: This
See, turns out, I finished the version of the pitch bible that I thought I could make during the time I had, one day before the deadline (So great call on my part). Only to discover a couple minutes ago that the deadline has been moved once again. Now to June 15.
Which means 1 of two things. That they haven't received enough submissions and decided to extend the time to see if they get more, which would play in my favor. Or that they are receiving so many submissions that they feel like extending it, which does in fact not play in my favor.
Anyway, the point here is that now I'm here considering if I should submit it now or take some time off the new extra days to improve it a bit more. See, I literally just finished it like an hour ago and it feels pretty much complete but I'm waiting a bit to see if the classic artist regrets appear.
In the meantime here are some of the art I've done for it since the last time I posted. And hey! Look! It's Donnie! Remember Donnie?!
I do now! I was so focused on the spooks and scares that last week I almost forgot about him. I of course did remember him on time.
For the drawings of the library and the City I used a different style to my usual because I felt I was running out of time. That's right, today's the day you guys discover that I've actually been doing things the hard way all this time basically just to amuse myself.
The drawing with Clara, the hippie dog Ghost it's actually a traced version of an old piece of mine.
Fun fact: Clara for a moment I considered for the role the Doll ended up taking as the gang's supernatural friend
And lastly, I really like how the Fish eye shot of the gang came up. That one I'll definitely work in later. You know, rendering a bit. Maybe detailing those legally distinct backrooms they seem to be at.
I’m not posting the whole thing yet as, unless I get a miracle and make it into the final selection, this is still not the final version of this pitch bible. I’ll be working more on it later still, unless I somehow win lmao
