🌅 The view we’ll miss most…
DESCRIPTION

As we edge closer to sharing what we’ve been working towards behind the scenes, we’ve found ourselves becoming increasingly sentimental about the little things.

Not the big adventures.

Not the epic passages.

Not even the destinations.

The everyday moments.

For seven years, this has been our bedroom view.

Some mornings we’ve woken to deserted anchorages and glassy water. Others to bustling harbours, fishing boats setting out before dawn, or the distant sound of anchor chains rattling into life.

It’s hard to explain just how deeply the rhythm of the sea becomes woven into everyday life when you live aboard.

The weather forecast is part of your morning routine.

You can tell how windy it is before you even open your eyes.

You instinctively know whether you’re swinging on anchor or sitting quietly in a marina berth.

The ocean stops being something you visit and becomes something you live with.

Something that quietly shapes every day.

As excited as we are for what comes next, there are moments like this when we realise we’re looking at things that have become completely normal to us… but perhaps won’t be for much longer.

And that’s a strange feeling.

One filled with excitement, gratitude, nostalgia and just a tiny bit of sadness all at the same time.

Whatever happens next, we’ll always be thankful that our family got to experience this life together.

Seven years.Countless anchorages.Thousands of sunrises.

Not a bad view to wake up to. ❤️⛵

P.S. For those following along closely, yes… we’re getting very close now. 😉
