Those of you who have followed our journey for years will know that behind every adventure, every challenge and every slightly crazy idea, there’s one man quietly making it all happen.
Ross is the man who would quite literally go through hell and high water to give his family comfort, safety, security, love and support.
This year alone has been extraordinary.
He’s driven thousands of miles, crossed borders more times than I can count, moved cats, cars, belongings and dreams. He’s dealt with paperwork, plans and logistics that most people would run a mile from. He’s made sure Holly Blue is safe and secure, protected our future, and somehow managed to make it all look effortless.
Through every challenge, every uncertainty and every difficult decision, he has been my absolute rock.
The boys have watched what quiet strength, loyalty and love look like. I have watched him carry burdens that most people never even knew existed, always putting us first and never asking for recognition.
And perhaps the most remarkable thing?
Little by little, one road trip, one piece of paperwork, one sacrifice and one act of love at a time, he’s been guiding us towards a dream we never imagined could actually become reality.
We’re not there yet, and there’s still so much more to come, but I have no doubt that one day we’ll look back on this chapter and realise it was the beginning of something truly special.
