This one came from you guys.A Patreon asked if I could make a simple phase rotation tool — something to just fix phase problems during mixing. Since I’ve already done Leaky and BassFlip, both dealing with more advanced phase manipulation, I figured: sure, let’s make a simple one too.
But I didn’t want to just repeat what’s already out there. There are already great phase rotators, so I added a twist:You can choose to rotate the entire stereo signal, or just the left or right channel.
That small addition opens up a lot of creative options. You can use it to create a sense of width similar to HAAS panning, but without the time offset — so no echo, no weird delay artifacts. As long as you don’t push it too far, it stays totally phase-safe:it’ll work fine in mono, and survive vinyl cutting if not pushed too far.
360 lets you draw out a wide, rich stereo image just by rotating what’s already there — no added delay, no fake reflections, just pure phase.
If you’re wondering how far you can push it, I’d say up to about 50 degrees is usually safe.But the best way to be sure is to keep an eye on a correlation meter.
